Horses

Many activities will be centered around the experience and connection of caring for and learning from horses. These sessions provide an opportunity to experience a working ranch. The care and feeding of livestock, along with the daily upkeep of ranch life, provide teachable moments and work ethic experience. Families and individuals will have a place to work side by side watering, feeding, sheltering and loving animals.

Healthy Living

Families and healthy living will also be a focus of the ranch, teaching nutrition and food basics from garden to table. Participants will have the chance to preserve, cook, and bake healthy meals. Preparing and sharing meals together is a vital part of family life.

Craftsmanship

Craftsmanship is a value at R Creek Family Ranch. Volunteers will share their skill while teaching craft sessions. Other sessions will teach skills like building, car repair and maintenance.
