about the ranch

Our humble acreage just outside of Bozeman Montana is both a ranch with farm animals and a short-term rental named House On A Hill.

Since the beginning of our name we have been collecting R-words.

One of those R-words is the word Respite: a short period of rest and relief. One definition adds ‘from something difficult’.

Both of us are pastor’s kids and have served as church planters, pastors, and worship leaders. R Creek has its roots in our desire to bless pastors and those in ministry with a place where they can experience some of that respite.

This is a peaceful place with plenty of opportunity to experience many other R-words besides rest and relax. Recreation is all around this area, and the experience of the Montana ‘Big Sky’ is in abundance as you overlook several mountain ranges.

activities

Guests at R Creek Family Ranch can come spend a day enjoying the ranch, the animals, nature, share a meal together, have a campfire. A chance for them to get away and a chance for us to get to know them.

Experience the beauty of our Ranch.

Family is part of our name because we love families.

You are welcome to book a stay at House On A Hill or consider sponsoring or donating to bless individuals, couples or families in ministry
